If you like doing cosplay and you are a fan of of mythical characters in manga, anime, videogame, TV series and general entertainment, this is your moment.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Euskal Encounter 33 has the following rules:
- The Cosplay Contest will be held in the main stage of the Euskal Encounter. ONLY Euskal Encounter PARTICIPANTS can register.
- As is usual, we will hold 2 events: the Euskal Encounter Cosplay RUNWAY, consisting of a catwalk where anyone who simply wants to show off their costume and pose for photographers can do it, and the Euskal Encounter Cosplay CONTEST itself, which is the traditionally hosted contest, properly speaking, with acting and supporting audiovisual media.
WHERE?
Both events will be held at the Euskal Encounter Main Stage, an area that can be accessed if you purchase a day pass to visit the interior of the Party.
WHEN?
- Both events will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025. The Cosplay RUNWAY will begin at 18:00 and as soon as the parade of participants ends, we will then give way to the Cosplay CONTEST, combining both activities in the same time slot.
REGISTRATION
Both registrations for the Euskal Encounter Cosplay RUNWAY like the ones in the Cosplay CONTEST shall be in person at the OpenGune Talks and Workshops Zone, on contest day itself (Saturday 26), from opening at 10:00 until 17:00 before the start of the Contest, or until all slots are filled.
Added to this, in the event that you want to participate in the Cosplay CONTEST, the audio or video to support the performance will be delivered on a pendrive in fullHD resolution (1920x1080) at the same time of registration, said video will be copied to the control computer and the pendrive will be returned to the participant, and the file must be correctly viewed in the VLC Player video player, not accepting any other video format that cannot be played in said player.
THE JURY
At this edition, a Cosplayer Jury of extensive experience will evaluate both contests. The jury's decision is final.
